Suggested Uses: Cinnamon ferns thrive in shade and are great for woodland settings. This fern is nice to use as contrasting foliage in the landscape and makes an excellent, tall ground cover for a woodland garden! It is named for the color of the fruiting body which grows straight up from the middle of the plant.
Native Range: Native to the eastern half of the U.S. including the eastern half of Minnesota.
Habitat: Provides nesting material for birds.
Leaves: Long/tall leaves that are cut twice.
