Suggested Uses: Shrubby Cinquefoil is a beautiful, drought tolerant shrub that does well on a variety of soil types, from sand to clay. It can grow quite wide (up to 5 feet) so give it plenty of space. Deer and rabbit resistant. Gets wide, give plenty of space, up to 5 feet.
Native Range: Native to the Great Lakes, New England and the West. Native to Minnesota and most commonly found along the shores of Lake Superior or wetlands in the northwest corner of the state.
Pollinators: Bees and butterflies.
Flowers: Flowers are small (about 1″ in diameter), bright yellow with 5 petals each.
Leaves: Palmately compound with hairs on woody stems.
