Suggested Uses: Lady Fern is an excellent fern for woodland gardens. Delicate in appearance but durable in nature. This plant thrives in part shade and in moist, slightly acidic soils. Grows well under evergreens. Nice to use for contrasting foliage in the landscape. Provides cover for wildlife.

Native Range: Native throughout Minnesota except for the southwest corner. Native throughout the U.S.

Wildlife Value: Provides shelter for many small organisms!
