Suggested Uses:

This is a very attractive native bunch grass with a beautiful blueish to light-reddish fall color! Seed heads glisten in the sunlight. This lovely grass makes an nice accent in the garden. This is an excellent choice for any landscaping project including shoreline restoration!

 

Interesting Facts:


Wildlife Uses: Songbirds and gamebirds eat the seeds especially in the winter. Deer and elk graze the grass and it provides cover for ground birds and small animals. It is a host plant for a variety of Skipper butterflies.
Crop Uses: Little Blue provides forage for livestock and makes a decent hay.
More Info: It is a beautiful ornamental plant.
