Please note:  These plants come up early, bloom and like a tulip, go dormant as the days get warmer. They are available for planting early spring or mid fall.  Bulbs and roots are postpaid.

Flowers: The flowers are 1" long 5 lobed trumpets blooming in drooping clusters.
Leaves: The alternate, untoothed, ovate leaves are about 2-6" long.

 

Suggested Uses: 

Virginia Bluebells are a very welcome colorful show in the spring! Flower buds turn from pink to lavender even to almost blue.... They are a lovely addition to the woodland garden or a naturalized open woodland setting.
