Color:  Pearly white
Blooms: June through October
Flowers:  Cluster of white composite flowers with pearly white bracts.
Leaves:  Soft and woolly, gray-green leaves that are narrow in form.

Suggested Uses:

This plant is one of the host plants for the Painted lady butterfly caterpillar. Plant it as a food source for these butterflies! It is an excellent plant to use for shoreline restoration projects. It works especially well along a woodland edge or in part shade in dry sandy soils. It is also an excellent dried flower for arrangements.
