A very fine clump forming grass that, although, sounds sharp and scary to the touch, is not at all, and is an excellent choice for a wide variety of landscaping purposes! It has a yellow to golden fall color.

Wildlife: A palatable grass for large and small animals.
Other info: This grass grows on dry loamy to heavy clay soils, but will also grow on sandy soils with a shallow water table
