Suggested Uses:

This grass grows in clumps, has a nice fall color and is attractive. It is an excellent grass for restoration, as well as for other landscaping projects!

 

Interesting Facts:

Wildlife:  Provides food and shelter for many birds and small animals. Pheasants in particular make use of Switch grass.
Crops:  Good for warm season pasture. Produces high quality hay. It also is excellent for soil stabilization and useful as a windbreak. Has recently been recognized as an excellent biofuel!
