Suggested Uses:


Wildlife Uses: Elk and Bighorn sheep enjoy grazing on Slender Wheat Grass.

Crop Uses: It is palatable and nutritious for livestock. Sometimes used in hay in combination with other grasses. Forage.

More Info: As a restoration grass, it grows quickly to hold the soil, then fades back in the first few years to give other grasses a chance to become established.  This grass is alkali tolerant!
