Flowers: The 1/4-1/3" flowers have only 1 petal, and 10 stamens. They bloom in tight spike-like clusters.
Leaves: The 4-12" leaves are covered with short white hairs. They are divided into 13-25 leaflets in a feather-like arrangement.

Suggested Uses:

This tall shrub is an excellent one for shoreline restoration projects. It is fast growing and  is an excellent choice  for stabilizing eroding shoreline! It's pinnately-compound leaves give this plant a somewhat "tropical look".

 

Interesting Facts

Name: The scientific name is from the Greek amorphos meaning "formless" or "deformed".
